Day 01: Montreux - Chillon Castle
Arrive at Zurich airport and take train to Montreux via Lausanne. Check-in, rest for a while and then leave to visit Chillon Castle (included in Swiss Travel Pass). Chillon Castle is one of Europe’s most fascinating castles, on the shores of Lake Geneva right at the foot of the Alps, facing the lake. Overnight in Montreux.
Day 02: Montreux - Olympic Museum (Lausanne)
Take 90 mins boat cruise to Lausanne. Arrive at Lausanne and visit the Olympic Museum (included in Swiss Travel Pass). The Olympic Museum has 3000 m2 of exhibition space, over 1500 exhibits, 150 screens. Spend some time in the city and then take train back to Montreux. Overnight in Montreux/Vevey. Hotel suggestion: The Modern Times Hotel in Vevey.
Day 03: Montreux - GoldenPass Line - Gstaad - Glacier 3000 - Interlaken
Check out from the hotel, experience the Golden Pass Line from Montreux to Gstaad. Deposit your luggage in the cloak Room at Gstaad and take the bus to reach the Glacier 3000. Take the cable car to reach at the top. There you can enjoy the Peak Walk by Tissot, only suspended bridge connecting two peaks, the Ice Express, the Glacier Walk as well as many other activities. Return to Gstaad train station and leave for Interlaken. Arrival in Interlaken by train and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 04: Interlaken

Day 05: Interlaken - Zermatt - Gornergrat
Check out and the take the train to Zermatt. Arrive and keep your luggage in the hotel. With its sunny observation platform accessible all year long, the Gornergrat, at an altitude of 3,089 m, has been one of Switzerland’s top excursion destinations since 1898. The Gornergrat Bahn was the world’s first fully electrified cog railway. Board the cogwheel railway up to the Gornergrat, with views of the majestic Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and other spectacular summits. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 06: Zermatt - Aletsch Arena
Day trip to Aletsch Arena region. Take a direct train from Zermatt to Mörel (1st Jan to 7th Jun 2019) and Zermatt to Fiesch (8th Jun to 20th Oct 2019), the main station in Aletsch Arena. Take the cable car to the Hohfluh at 2227m or Eggishorn Mountain at 2,869 meters and to enjoy the first spectacular 360o panorama view on the 23km long Aletsch Arena and its mountains. Spend good 3 - 4 hours in the lap of nature and then return back to Zermatt. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 07: Zermatt - Glacier Express - Chur - Zurich
Check out from the hotel and board the Glacier Express train which is one of the greatest train journeys in the world. You travel from Zermatt to Chur. A 5.5 hrs railway journey across 291 bridges, through 91 tunnels and across the Oberalp Pass at 2033 meters in altitude, through the unspoilt natural beauty of a landscape rich in ancient fragrant mountain forests, peaceful Alpine meadows, rushing mountain streams and mountain valleys, soaked in tradition and centuries-old culture. De-board the train at Chur and take train to Zurich. Overnight in Zurich.
Day 08: End of Tour
Return to any Swiss border or Swiss airport or continue your stay in Switzerland on your own
