During this tour we will introduce Prague as a historic and architectural jewel of Central Europe. Our guide will be with you the whole time, explaining the history of Prague and its neighbourhoods (Old Town, New Town, Lesser Town) during the bus trip. The second part of the tour will take you to Prague castle and to one of the most most important sight of Prague on a visit inside the nearby St Vitus Cathedral . After approximately 60 minutes of guided walking tour you go to the bank of the Vltava River to get on board a boat where you can take a rest and relax admiring the beauties of Prague from a different view. Besides other bridges connecting both the river banks you will see the well known Charles Bridge from the boat. Then continue for a pleasant walk through the Jewish town to the Old Town Square (Prague Astronomical Clock and Tyn Cathedral) where the tour ends.
<p style="text-align:justify">Post Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and make your way to the train station. Board the train for the onward journey to Budapest (approx train travel time is 7 hrs). Upon your arrival at Budapest train station, make your way to the hotel and free time.<br /> Later in the evening by approx 16:00, try a new way to discover the city - SEGWAY. Historical overview of the Buda Castle district, on a Segway through the cobblestone streets and squares, grand palaces and buildings making up the entire castle area. Feeling the medieval aspects from the first stone laid to the present day modern use. Your guide will lead you through the Castle area and the historical points, occupations and roles it played throughout the Hungarian history all while enjoy the freedom to effortlessly glide on a Segway past these grand sights. During this tour you will see the major areas of Royal Palace, Presidential Palace, Disz Square, Holy Trinity Square, Hess Andras Square, Matthias Church of our lady and the Fisherman's Bastion, Arpad Toth Promenade, Mary Megdolana tower and church. The tour starts with a 20 minute orientation session (not included in quoted tour time). You will have time to practice on the Segways so that everyone feels comfortable and ready to go out and conquer the Castle. We reserve the right to alter and change tour program without prior notice due to construction, city closures for events, festivals and so on throughout the year.
